The Mission of Specialty Housing Partners is to preserve and expand housing opportunities for persons and families living with disabilities, meeting them where they are and providing transformational supportive services.
Our Vision is to be the preeminent provider of permanent supportive housing services in the United States while focusing upon markets that are the most under-served such as Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
Who We Are
SHP founding principal, Justin D. Brooks, has over 20 years of executive experience in the affordable housing industry. Having served as a HUD FHA Director, Developer, and Principal Director in both the public and private sectors Justin has the acumen and expertise to deliver projects. As a father of 2 disabled children, he intimately understands the comprehensive needs of disabled individuals and their families. His career second act will be focused upon fostering lifelong housing solutions for persons and families impacted by various disabilities.
Join Our Mission
Specialty Housing Partners is accepting private equity investment from select partners who wish to participate in projects financed through the Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and related programs and is also open to partnerships through 1031 Exchange. We have the proven ability to deliver superior ROI while participating in life-changing projects that support disabled families.
